Say the true thing
If a feature is not ready, the page says it is not ready. If an app collects something, the privacy label says so. Marketing that outruns the product is a debt that always comes due at review time.
Espyeon LLC is an independent software company. We design, build, publish and maintain our own applications, and we take on a limited amount of client work in the same disciplines.
Most of the software people use every day is built to serve something other than the person holding the phone. It collects more than it needs, it advertises at the moment attention is most valuable, and it is abandoned the instant the metrics stop justifying the maintenance budget. None of that is inevitable. It is a series of choices, made early, usually for reasons that have nothing to do with the product.
Espyeon was formed to make the other set of choices and find out whether they can be made to work commercially. That means a smaller catalogue, slower growth, and revenue that comes from people paying for software rather than from brokering what the software learns about them.
We work in short cycles against a written spec, with the platform guidelines treated as part of that spec rather than as a gate at the end. Every release goes out behind the same checks: a typecheck, a test run, an accessibility pass with the screen reader actually turned on, and a review of what the build sends over the network.
When something we ship breaks, we say so, we fix it, and we write down what let it through. We would rather publish a short, unflattering incident note than quietly patch and hope nobody noticed.
Alongside our own products we take on a small number of engagements a year — usually a native iOS or Android application, or the backend behind one. We are a good fit if you want something built to last and handed over cleanly, with the source, the pipeline and the documentation belonging to you at the end of it.
We are a poor fit if the plan depends on aggressive data collection, on dark patterns around subscriptions, or on shipping something that will not survive App Review. We will tell you that in the first conversation rather than the fourth invoice.
If that sounds right, Contact@espyeon.com is the fastest way to reach us.

Design, client, server and release live under one roof. Nothing gets thrown over a wall, and nobody gets to say the problem belongs to another team.
We choose boring, well-supported technology and keep dependencies few enough to actually upgrade. The goal is software that still builds and still ships a decade from now.
Battery, bandwidth, storage and attention are borrowed, not owned. An app that drains any of them without earning it has failed regardless of how it looks.
