A private channel that stays private
Mark an entry private and it is yours and Amanda's alone. Your partner is never shown it and is never told whether one exists — enforced at the database, not by the app remembering to hide it.
Relationship coaching for two
EMPS is a private space for two people. You each record how you are doing — wellbeing, intimacy, the things you have not said out loud yet — and Amanda, the coach built into the app, writes a weekly session for the two of you together and private coaching for each of you alone.
EMPS is coaching software, not therapy. It is not counselling, medical advice or treatment, it does not monitor what you write, and it cannot summon help. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US, or 911 if there is immediate danger.
The thing that makes EMPS work is a line drawn down the middle of it. Some of what you record is shared with your partner. Some of it is yours and Amanda’s alone, and your partner is never shown it — nor told that it exists.
That separation is enforced in the database with row-level security rather than left to the app to remember, and the shared weekly session is checked before it is saved to make sure nothing private has bled into it. The Privacy Policy sets out, line by line, exactly who can read each thing you write — it is the first substantive section of the document for that reason.
Every week she reads what you have both recorded and writes a session for the two of you to read together, plus private coaching for each of you alone. She keeps working notes between weeks, so the coaching builds on what came before instead of restarting from nothing each time.
She is a large language model, and the app says so plainly rather than implying a person. Coaching is generated automatically, is not reviewed by a human before you see it, and can be wrong. It is something to consider, not a determination about your relationship.
Not therapy, not counselling, not medical advice, and not a safety service. Nobody reads your entries as they arrive, and nothing you write reaches a person who could act on it. EMPS surfaces crisis resources where coaching detects language that may indicate risk, but that detection is automated and incomplete and must never be relied on.
The Terms also prohibit using EMPS to pressure, monitor or control a partner, and we terminate accounts for it. An app two people share is open to that kind of misuse, and saying so in the agreement is what lets us act.

A session written from what you both recorded that week, meant to be read together, with the evidence behind it so it is not just assertion.
Just for You sessions drawn from your own writing, including the private channel. Never shown to your partner, never alluded to in the shared session.
Emotional, mental, physical, spiritual and relational — tracked over time, with room for notes, so the pattern becomes visible rather than remembered.
Levels are shared; what you write about giving, receiving and what you would like more of stays between you and Amanda.
Amanda keeps working notes between weeks, so sessions develop across months instead of starting from zero each time.
No advertising identifiers, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics SDKs. We never sell your information and never use it to train a model.
Permanent deletion from inside the app, covering your entries, your private writing, your coaching and Amanda's notes about you.
Not a generic template with the product name swapped in. Each document addresses what this product actually does with your information.
