Account & Data Deletion
Last updated September 16, 2026 · Applies to the HealthTrajectory application
HealthTrajectory is an educational tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing it shows you is medical advice. AI-generated insights can be incomplete or wrong. Always talk to a qualified clinician about your health, and if you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately — do not use this app.
You can delete your HealthTrajectory account and all of its health data at any time, at no cost, without asking permission and without explaining why. This page sets out exactly how, what is removed, what we are required to keep, and how long it takes.
1. Deleting your account from inside the app
- Open HealthTrajectory and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account closes immediately and erasure begins on the schedule in section 5.
Export anything you want to keep first — see section 6. Deletion is permanent and we cannot undo it.
2. Deleting some of it, not all of it
You do not have to choose between everything and nothing. From within the App you can:
- delete an individual result, entry, note or logged item;
- delete everything retrieved from one provider while keeping what you entered yourself; or
- clear a whole category, such as all diet logs.
3. Disconnecting a provider integration
Disconnecting an Epic / SMART on FHIR integration and deleting data are two separate actions. Disconnecting stops any further retrieval, but does not by itself erase records already retrieved. To remove those as well, disconnect the integration and then delete its records, or delete your account entirely.
Disconnect from Settings → Connected records. You can also revoke our access from your provider’s own account settings, which takes effect immediately regardless of anything on our side.
4. What is deleted, and what is kept
Erased permanently:
- your account record, name, email address and credentials;
- all health information you entered — bloodwork, history, conditions, medications, symptoms and notes;
- all lifestyle and diet logs;
- all records retrieved from any provider integration, and the authorisation tokens for those integrations;
- all insights and trends generated from your data; and
- diagnostic records that can be linked back to your account.
Retained, and why:
- Transaction records — a minimal record of purchases, because tax and accounting law requires it, generally for seven years. These contain no health information and no payment card details, which we never hold.
- Security and audit logs — retained for up to twelve months as described in the Privacy Policy, then removed. These record that an access occurred, not the clinical content of what was accessed.
- Support correspondence — what you wrote to us, under the schedule in the Privacy Policy.
5. How long it takes
- Immediately — the account closes, sign-in stops working, and every provider integration is revoked.
- Within 30 days — your data is erased from our live production systems.
- Within 30 days of that — it ages out of our encrypted rolling backups. We never restore an individual account from backup, so nothing is resurrected.
We will confirm in writing when erasure is complete if you ask us to.
6. Exporting your data first
Go to Settings → Account → Export data to download everything in a portable, machine-readable format such as JSON or CSV. You can also request an export by email and we will deliver it within 30 days. Do this before you delete — we cannot produce an export afterwards.
7. If you cannot get into the app
Email Contact@espyeon.com from the address on the account, with the subject “HealthTrajectory account deletion request”. We verify every request before acting on it — deletion is irreversible and we are not willing to let someone else erase your health records. Verification normally means replying from the account’s email address. There is no charge.
8. Two things deleting your account does not do
It does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are held by Apple or Google, not by us, and only you can cancel them — through Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iOS, or Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android. Cancel first, then delete.
It does not touch your medical record. Your records at your healthcare provider are held by them, under their own retention obligations, and are entirely unaffected by anything you delete here. Deleting your HealthTrajectory account removes our copy — nothing more, and nothing less.
